We created Between the Chapters because sometimes a book is just the beginning of the conversation.
Each month, we'll choose a new book and spend a few weeks reading, chatting, and sharing thoughts inside our community.
Then, on the first Thursday of the following month, we meet virtually to talk about what we read, what surprised us, what annoyed us, what made us laugh—and sometimes what the book made us think about in our own lives.

Who is Between the Chapters for?
Between the Chapters is for midlife women who love a good book and an even better conversation.
You don't need to be an MSS Keyholder to join. BTC is our free, open door into the Midlife Secret Society community.
How do I get the book?
Wherever you prefer to get your books from-and audiobooks do count! We do provide Amazon affiliate links, which means MSS may earn a small commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. You're absolutely welcome to get your books elsewhere!
Do I have to finish the book?
Not at all.
Read every word, listen to the audiobook, skim the last few chapters, or show up having barely started. There are no quizzes and no wrong answers. Read as much as you can and come join the conversation.
When and where do you meet?
Our monthly BTC discussion happens virtually on Zoom on the first Thursday of each month, when we gather to discuss the previous month's book.
All Zoom links and meetup details can be found inside the BTC community, in the monthly Society Bulletin, and in our email reminders.
How will I know when the next book and meetup are?
You'll never have to hunt for the details.
Book selections, discussion dates, Zoom information, and other BTC details will be shared inside the BTC community, in our monthly newsletter, and through email reminders based on the communication preferences you select when you join.

What happens between the monthly meetups?
The conversation continues inside the BTC community throughout the month.
We'll share discussion questions and conversation prompts to give you a chance to share your thoughts, hear from other readers, and keep the conversation going between meetups.
