Welcome back to The Society Bulletin! 🗝️

Each month, we share a little of what's been happening around the Midlife Secret Society—from book club conversations and new posts on The Society Pages to upcoming events, travel inspiration, and all the little moments that make this season of life a little more meaningful (and a lot more fun). Whether you've been here from the beginning, joined us through Between the Chapters, recently became a Society member, or you're simply curious about what we're building, we're so glad you're here.

July was a month of firsts. We kicked off our very first Between the Chapters book club, launched The Society Pages blog, welcomed new members into the Society, and opened our book club to guests for the very first time. We also gathered for Coffee & Conspiracies at a new favorite spot in Charlotte, caught up with members virtually, and watched new friendships begin to take shape. Looking back, our favorite part wasn't checking things off a list—it was seeing this community continue to grow, one conversation and one connection at a time. Thank you for being part of it. ❤️

We hope you enjoyed our very first Between the Chapters book Remarkably Bright Creatures !

We had some great conversation comparing the book and movie last night. And the vote is in, we all loved Nova and Marcellus!

Some of our favorite conversations aren't planned at all.

I always tell my kids, “the best things in life are unplanned”.

No agenda, no presentation, no pressure, just good coffee and good company. Some mornings it's books, some mornings it's travel, and some mornings the conversation wanders somewhere nobody expected. Those are usually the ones we remember.

That's Coffee & Conspiracies in a nutshell — a members-only gathering that's really just an excuse to slow down, catch up, and enjoy each other's company.

☕ August 4 Was National White Wine Day, we will be celebrated at Rosie’s Coffee & Wine Garden in Charlotte, the garden was beautiful and the wine was good too.

One of the best parts of this season of life is realizing that joy doesn't always arrive with a grand entrance. Sometimes it's a coffee you actually sit down for, a text you finally send, saying yes to something new, or meeting someone who just gets you. Those little moments have a way of becoming the memories we treasure most. Whether you've joined us for book club, read a blog post, come to an event, or you're simply cheering from the sidelines, thank you for being part of this community and helping make the Midlife Secret Society what it is.
